Managing your training schedule and workouts

Navigate scheduled workouts and on-demand collections, track your progress, and complete workouts to stay on track with your fitness goals.

In the Fitsly client app, the Training page offers two distinct tabs to manage your workouts effectively. Here's how to navigate and use each section:

1. My Schedule tab

The My Schedule tab displays workouts that your coach has scheduled for specific days:

  • Week navigation: Swipe through weeks to view past, current, and upcoming scheduled workouts.
  • Workout status: Each workout clearly shows its status - completed, in progress, or ready to start.
  • Quick access: Start today's workouts directly from the schedule.
  • Flexible scheduling: If your coach has enabled it, you can change the scheduled day for workouts to better fit your availability.

Working with scheduled workouts

Completed workouts: Tap on any completed workout to:

  • View your recorded results and performance metrics
  • Rate the workout based on difficulty and experience
  • Add comments or notes for future reference
  • Review exercise-specific results

Current and upcoming workouts: For workouts ready to start or in progress:

  • View the complete workout overview including all exercises
  • See sets, reps, and any coach instructions
  • Start the workout to begin logging your performance

2. On Demand tab

The On Demand tab provides access to workout collections prescribed by your coach:

  • Flexible training: Complete these workouts any day you choose, at your own pace.
  • Workout collections: Browse through different collections your coach has assigned.
  • No schedule restrictions: Perfect for extra training sessions or when traveling.
  • Progress tracking: All completed on-demand workouts are still tracked in your history.

Tips for effective training management

  • Check My Schedule regularly: Stay aware of upcoming scheduled workouts to plan your week.
  • Use On Demand for flexibility: Take advantage of on-demand workouts when you have extra time or miss a scheduled session.
  • Complete workouts promptly: Log your results while they're fresh in your mind.
  • Communicate with your coach: If you need schedule adjustments or different workout options, reach out through the app.
