Form submissions are reviewed from the Forms page in your coach dashboard. Open a submission to read the answers, then mark it reviewed — with an optional comment that's sent to the client as a chat message.
Steps
- Open Forms from the sidebar. A red dot appears on Forms when you have any pending submissions.
- Click the Form Submissions tab at the top of the page.
- Pick a form type: Check-Ins, One-Time Forms, or Public Forms. Each tab shows a count of pending submissions for that type.
- Click any row to open the submission drawer. It shows the client (for check-in and one-time forms), the submission date, and every question with the client's answer.
- Click Mark as reviewed.
- Optionally type a comment (up to 1,000 characters) and click Mark as reviewed in the modal to confirm. The comment is sent to the client as a chat message referencing the form.
You can also use the Form status filter (All forms / Pending / Reviewed) and the Search by form name box to narrow the list.
Marking reviewed without opening the submission
Click the eye icon in the row's Actions column. The review modal opens so you can confirm and optionally add a comment, without having to read through the answers first.
Reviewing multiple submissions at once
- Tick the checkboxes on the left side of each row you want to review.
- Click Mark Reviewed at the top of the table.
All selected submissions are marked reviewed in one action. Bulk review does not send comments — to send a comment, open the submission individually.
Marking a reviewed submission back to pending
Click the rotate icon in the row's Actions column. The submission returns to pending status. No modal, no comment, and no notification is sent to the client. You can switch the Form status filter to Reviewed to find reviewed submissions and toggle them back individually.
If you're reviewing a public form
Public forms don't support comments. Marking a public form submission reviewed is a status change only — the submitter isn't notified and no chat message is sent. Public form submissions can be toggled between pending and reviewed, but the comment review modal isn't available for this form type.
What the client sees when you review their form
If you mark a check-in or one-time submission reviewed with a comment:
- They get a push notification titled Check-In Reviewed or Form Reviewed, with the body "[your first name] reviewed your form and left some comments."
- The comment arrives in their chat with you, attached as a form reply that links to the form name and submission date.
- An in-app notification appears in their notifications list.
If you mark reviewed without a comment, the status updates silently. No chat message, no push, no in-app notification.
Notifications you receive when forms come in
When a client completes a check-in or one-time form assigned to them, you receive an in-app notification (Check-In Completed or Form Completed) and the Forms sidebar item gets the red dot.
Things to watch out for
- Comments are only available on Check-In and One-Time form submissions. Public form submissions can't be commented on.
- The bulk Mark Reviewed button only marks reviewed — there's no bulk action to send comments or to revert to pending. Use the rotate icon on each row to revert.
- If a client has messaging turned off, or the conversation has form review messages disabled, the chat message is skipped — the submission still gets marked reviewed, but no comment is delivered.
- Comments are capped at 1,000 characters.
- The red dot on the Forms sidebar item counts pending submissions across all three form types combined.
