Progress photos and body metrics are the two event types the calendar owns. Both are scheduled from a client's Calendar tab — either one day at a time, or as a repeating block with the recurring scheduler.
Both types complete themselves when the client logs the matching data, so there's nothing to tick off afterwards.
Schedule a single task on a day
- Open the client's profile and go to their Calendar.
- Hover over the day and click its + button.
- Choose Progress photos or Body metrics.
The task is created on that day immediately. The client sees a "Take your progress photos" or "Record your body metrics" card on their schedule. Any day works, including past days.
Schedule a repeating block of tasks
- From a day's + menu, open Recurring → Schedule events — or use Schedule events at the bottom of the Filters panel.
- Choose the event type: Progress photos or Body metrics.
- Under Repeat on, toggle the weekdays the task should land on. At least one is required.
- Pick the starting week.
- Set Repeat every and For the next.
- Check the live summary, then click Create events.
Recurring scheduler settings
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Event type | What gets created on each date | — (required) |
| Repeat on | Which weekdays the task lands on | None selected |
| Starting week | The first week of the pattern | Current week, or the week you opened it from |
| Repeat every | Gap between scheduled weeks — 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks | 1 week |
| For the next | How long the pattern runs — 1 to 52 weeks | 4 weeks |
Weeks run Monday to Sunday everywhere in the calendar.
Move a scheduled task to another day
Drag its chip to another day. Pending photo and metric tasks can move to any day, including past days. Once a task is completed it stays where it is.
The move applies straight away and reverts automatically if it fails to save.
Delete a scheduled task
Open the task's panel and use the delete event action. This removes the scheduled task only — photos or metrics already logged are untouched, and the card disappears from the client's schedule.
Things to watch out for
Past dates are skipped in a recurring schedule. A starting week in the past is moved up to the current week, which shortens the run, and any individual day earlier than today is dropped. The "Creates N events" summary doesn't subtract those, so you can end up with fewer tasks than it showed. If every date in the schedule is in the past, nothing is created and you'll see "All scheduled dates are in the past. Please select future dates."
Tasks use standard titles. There's no custom title or description, and the only thing you can change after creating one is its day. If you want the client actively nudged about a task, pair it with a check-in form or a habit reminder.
A task completes only when the matching data is logged for its exact scheduled day. Logging on a different day saves the photos or metrics but leaves the task open.
