How do I organize clients with tags?
Create private tags in the Tag manager, assign clients to them, and filter your roster by tag — clients never see their tags.
Tags are private labels only you see. Clients are never shown them. Use them to group your roster — "PT", "Challenge group", "VIP" — and to filter the Clients page down to the group you're working on.
Create and assign tags
- Open Clients → Tag manager.
- Create a new tag, or rename or delete an existing one.
- Use the add and remove client pickers to assign clients to a tag or take them off it.
- Save. Nothing is applied until you do.
Tag rules and limits
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tag name length | Up to 25 characters |
| Allowed characters | Letters, numbers, and spaces only |
| Duplicate names | Blocked in the form |
| Visibility | Private to your dashboard — clients never see tags |
Filter your roster by tag
On the Clients page, open the filters popover and pick one or more tags. Clients matching any of the tags you picked show, so selecting two tags gives you everyone in either group rather than only clients who have both.
Tags also appear as a column on the roster, so you can see how a client is grouped without opening their profile. Deleting a tag removes it from every client it was on; nothing else about those clients changes.
