How do I assign more than one program to the same client at the same time?

Yes — assign each program separately from its editor. Workouts from every active program merge into the client's calendar.

You can run multiple structured programs concurrently for the same client. Assign each one from its own program editor, and all workouts from all active programs appear together on the client's calendar and in their daily task list.

Steps

  1. Open the first program from Training → Programs → Structured programs.
  2. In the program editor, click the Add clients to program icon (the person+ icon at the top right).
  3. In the Add clients to program modal, check the client you want to assign and click Next.
  4. Set the Starting on date and adjust Start Day / End Day if you only want to assign part of the program.
  5. Click Assign Program.
  6. Open the second program and repeat steps 2–5 for the same client.

The client now has both programs running. Each program tracks its own start date and day range independently.

Where the client sees both programs

On the client's Calendar tab, workouts from every active program stack on the same day with no program label on the workout cards. The Things to do today section on the client's General tab shows a flat list of all workouts due that day, also without program labels.

Things to watch out for

  • No conflict warning. The assignment modal does not flag that the client already has another program running, and identical start dates produce no warning. Workouts simply stack.
  • No program label on workouts. Neither the calendar nor "Things to do today" shows which program a workout belongs to. If two programs assign the same workout on the same day, it appears twice with no way to tell them apart.
  • Calendar filters do not list individual programs. Under Filters → Claude's Programs, you'll only see a single "Custom Workouts" toggle, not one entry per assigned program.
  • The Program Progress widget is for phased programs only. After assigning structured programs, the widget on the client's General tab will still read "No phased program assigned" — that's expected; it doesn't track structured programs.
  • Program assignment lives inside the program editor. You cannot bulk-assign a program from the calendar's "+" menu — that menu only adds individual workouts, body metrics, photos, or automations.
