The collection editor is where you shape what clients see. A live phone preview sits beside the sections and mirrors the layout, scroll style, cover, and sections exactly as the client app will render them.
Open it by clicking a collection in your Vault collections list.
Build a collection
- Click Add section and give it a name. The item picker opens straight away.
- Add items to the section — resources, recipes, or workouts, depending on the collection's type — using the picker's search.
- Choose the section's Layout: Large cards, Squares, Narrow cards, or List. Each has a preview.
- Choose the section's Scroll behavior: Horizontal scroll (compact) for a side-scrolling row, or Vertical scroll (stacked) for a vertical list.
- Optionally add section tags and tag the section's items. Clients see the tags as filter chips on that section.
- Reorder items within a section, and reorder sections, once there's more than one of each.
- Click Save collection.
The save button only enables when something has changed. The header shows "Changes not saved" while edits are pending, and closing with unsaved edits shows a warning first. Everything you save is live — clients see it on their next visit to the Vault tab.
Section settings
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Section name | The section's heading in the client app, up to 100 characters | Required |
| Layout | How the section's items are drawn | Large cards |
| Scroll behavior | Horizontal (shown as "Compact") or vertical (shown as "Stacked") | Horizontal scroll (compact) |
| Section tags | Filter chips clients tap to narrow the section, up to 25 characters each | None |
There's no cap on the number of sections, or on items per section.
Add and remove items in a section
Use the section menu's Add option, or the section's add button, to open the picker. It searches your library and scrolls infinitely.
In Resources collections, items already in the section are pre-selected and can be unticked to remove them. In Recipes and Workouts collections the picker only adds items — remove them from the section card instead.
An item can appear once per section. Re-adding an item merges it rather than creating a duplicate.
To remove an item, use the remove action on its card and confirm. The item stays in your library.
Rename or remove a section
Click the section title in the editor and type the new name.
To remove a section, open the section menu, scroll to Danger zone, choose Remove section, and confirm. The section and its arrangement are gone from the collection; the items themselves stay in your library.
Tag items in a section
- Open the section menu and choose Manage section tags, then add the tags you want.
- Use the tag button on each item card to assign any of the section's tags to it.
Removing a section tag clears it from the section's items.
Reorder items and sections
Open the section menu and choose Re-order items to drag rows into order in a dedicated modal. This unlocks once the section has more than one item.
Use the reorder button in the editor header to reorder the sections themselves. It unlocks once the collection has more than one section.
Things to watch out for
- Adding an item to a collection that's already shared makes it visible to everyone that collection is shared with, immediately.
- A collection name is required before you can save.
- Deleting a resource from your library doesn't remove it from a section that already contains it — remove it from the section too.
