How do I create a vault collection?

Create a Resources, Recipes, or Workouts collection, then edit, duplicate, or delete it from your collections list.

Vault collections are what you curate from your library — plus your recipes and workouts — into a browsable experience for clients. A collection is shared as one unit, so sharing it gives a client access to everything inside it.

Collections are managed on the web dashboard.

Create a collection

  1. Go to Vault collections and click Add collection.
  2. Pick the Collection type: Resources, Recipes, or Workouts. This decides what kind of items the collection can hold.
  3. Give it a Collection name, and optionally a description and a cover photo.
  4. Click Create Collection. The collection editor opens automatically so you can start adding sections.

The collection type is locked once the collection is created. To change it, create a new collection of the right type and rebuild it.

Find a collection in your list

The collections list shows each collection's type, assigned clients, item count, section count, and last-updated date, 10 per page, with a text search over the list.

Edit a collection's settings

Click the collection's row, or its row menu and then Edit, to open the editor. Click the pencil next to the collection name to change the name, description, or cover photo. The type is locked, with a notice in the form saying so.

Duplicate a collection

From the collections list row menu, choose Duplicate.

The copy is named with "(Copy)" appended, keeps the same sections and items, and starts with no clients — share it separately. The copy references the same underlying items rather than cloning them, so editing a resource changes it in both the original and the duplicate.

Delete a collection

Delete from the row menu, or tick the checkboxes on several collections and use the bulk Delete bar.

The collection disappears from every assigned client's app and can't be recovered. The resources, recipes, and workouts inside it stay in your library — only the collection is gone.

Legacy collections

Collections created before sections existed show a Legacy pill in your list. They hold a single flat list of resources and open in a simpler editor where you can add and remove resources and add and remove clients.

The legacy editor shows a notice recommending you delete the collection and rebuild it as a new one — new collections are always created in the sectioned format, with sections, layouts, and tag filtering. Clients see legacy collections grouped under their Resource collections, in a simpler view.

Things to watch out for

  • An empty collection can't be selected in the client-profile, onboarding-flow, or automation pickers. Add at least one item to it first. The collection editor's own Add clients button doesn't have this rule.
  • Changes to a collection go live immediately. Clients see them the next time they open the Vault tab.
