The calendar is where a client's whole plan comes together on real dates: workouts, progress photo and body metric tasks, check-in forms, habits, and automations. Open a client's profile and go to their Calendar tab.
The calendar shows one client at a time — to plan for someone else, open their profile. Everything here is the web dashboard, which the coach mobile app also serves.
Read the calendar grid
The grid is monthly and weeks run Monday to Sunday. Today's cell is highlighted, and days from the neighbouring months appear dimmed at the edges. Use the arrows to change month and Today to jump back to the current month.
- Habits render as compact emoji pills pinned to the bottom of each day. Everything else shows as a full chip, colour-coded by type.
- The day a program phase begins carries a "{Phase name} phase begins" label.
- Workout chips tell you when the client started the work themselves: Freestyle (built and logged by the client), Vault (started from an on-demand collection), or Client-added (a program workout copy the client scheduled). A Logging badge shows while you're logging a workout on the client's behalf.
Filter what appears on the calendar
Click the funnel icon to open Filters:
| Filter | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Programs | Show or hide each program's workouts (each phase has its own colour) | All shown |
| Custom Workouts | Show or hide one-off assigned workouts | On |
| Habits / Body Metrics / Progress Photos / Check-in Forms / Automations | Show or hide each item type | All on |
Completed program workouts stay visible even with their program toggled off. Filters change your view only — nothing is unscheduled and the client app is unaffected.
Read monthly completion stats
The same Filters panel shows Completed in [month] — completion bars for Workouts, Body Metrics, Progress Photos, Habits, and Check-in Forms, counted within the month you're viewing.
Scheduled check-ins stay on the calendar after their day passes, so a past check-in with an empty circle was missed.
Use To do today on the client overview
The client's Overview tab includes a To do today list — the same scheduled items for a single day, with arrows, a Today shortcut, and a date picker for any date. The heading adapts to "To do today / yesterday / tomorrow" or the date itself.
It lists workouts, photo and metric tasks, habits, and forms. Automations are deliberately left out — they appear on the full Calendar tab only. Clicking an item opens the same panels as the calendar. An empty day shows "Nothing scheduled yet" with a shortcut to the full calendar.
Open items from the calendar
- Click a workout chip for a preview with duration, exercise count, exercise breakdown, and a status pill — Assigned, Missed, In Progress, Coach Logging, Completed, or Logged by coach. A completed workout opens its results instead.
- Click a progress photos or body metrics chip to open that feature's panel, where you can view, add, edit, or delete the day's entries.
- Click a habit pill to open a quick-log drawer for that habit and day. The value you enter becomes the client's day total.
- Click a check-in form chip to view the submission, or to open an incomplete form to fill in.
- Click an automation chip to open the automation editor, where you can change or delete it.
Things to watch out for
There's no all-clients calendar — the calendar is always scoped to one client. The client's own schedule updates when they open the Calendar tab or pull to refresh, so a change you just made won't appear instantly on their device.
