How do I create my Fitsly coach account?
Sign up for a coach account on the web, start your 14-day free trial, and know what to do if signup is rejected.
Coaches sign themselves up on the web dashboard. There's no waiting on an approval or an email confirmation first — you're signed in as soon as you finish the form, with a 14-day free trial already running.
The coach mobile app shows the same screens, so everything here works there too.
Sign up for a coach account
- Go to the signup page and enter your email address, first name, last name, and a password.
- Complete the "I'm not a robot" verification.
- Click Continue. Continuing accepts the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You land straight in the welcome wizard, and a welcome email arrives with a link to confirm your email address. Confirming isn't required to use the dashboard — the link is valid for 14 days if you want it.
If you arrived through another coach's referral link, a banner confirms the referral code is attached. A valid code takes $20 off your first payment.

Sign up through a team invitation
If another coach invited you to their team and you don't already have a coach account, their invitation email carries a personal setup link.
- Open the link — the setup page shows who invited you.
- Your email is filled in and locked. Enter your name and a password, using the same rules as a normal signup, and complete the "I'm not a robot" check.
- Click Sign up. You land directly in that team's workspace.
Team members skip the welcome wizard, and the head coach is notified that you've joined. The setup link is single-use — opening it again shows "Invalid signup code".
Sign in to your account
Enter your email address and password on the sign-in page and click Sign in. There's a "Remember me" checkbox, but it has no effect — sessions behave the same either way, and a signed-in device stays signed in for up to 180 days without re-entering your password.
If you belong to another coach's team, you pick a workspace after signing in.
Signing out from the account menu ends the session on that device only. To sign out elsewhere, go to account settings and use Active sessions, which lists every signed-in device with its platform, browser, and sign-in time, and lets you sign each one out remotely.
Things to watch out for
A generic signup error usually means a spam check. Signup rejects link-shortener text in any name or email field, web links or star and sparkle emoji in names, and email addresses ending in .ru. If a legitimate detail of yours trips this, use a different spelling or address, or contact support.
A forgotten password is fixable. Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. The emailed link lasts 2 days, and a newer reset email replaces the older link. As a coach, resetting signs you straight in.
Quick answers
I never clicked the email confirmation link — am I locked out of anything?
No. Coaches are signed in immediately at signup and the dashboard doesn't require a confirmed email. If you change your email address later, a fresh confirmation link is sent to the new address.
