How do I use the onboarding checklist to set up my account?

Work through the six first-run steps in the dashboard checklist, see how each one completes, and hide it when you're done.

Your dashboard includes a welcome checklist that tracks your first-run milestones. It sits as a floating card at the bottom of the screen and opens a side drawer with the steps and a completion percentage.

The drawer opens automatically right after the setup and demo-data step. After that, open it from the floating card whenever you want it.

Work through the onboarding checklist steps

Each step has a button that takes you to the right place to complete it.

  1. Welcome to Fitsly! — already complete, and includes a link to follow Fitsly on Instagram.
  2. Add your first client — completes when you create your first client.
  3. Build your first workout — completes when you create your first workout.
  4. Assign training to a client — completes when you make your first training assignment.
  5. Upload your profile photo — completes when your profile has a photo.
  6. Download the mobile apps — completes when you tick "I downloaded the coach app" and "I downloaded the client app" in the Get the apps drawer.

Opening the App Store or Google Play links doesn't complete the download step on its own — the two checkboxes do.

Where the checklist appears

The checklist is on the web dashboard only. It doesn't appear in the coach mobile app, and it never shows on the Messages page.

Once every step is complete, the checklist disappears on its own. You don't need to dismiss it.

Hide the onboarding checklist

  1. Open the checklist drawer from the floating card.
  2. Click Hide checklist.
  3. Confirm when asked "Are you sure you'd like to hide this checklist forever?"

Things to watch out for

Hiding is permanent. The confirmation means what it says — once hidden, the checklist never comes back, on any device or browser. If you only want it out of the way for now, leave it collapsed and use the floating card when you're ready.

The checklist can look missing when it isn't. It doesn't render on the Messages page, and it isn't shown in the coach mobile app at all — open the web dashboard on another page to get it back.
