Fitsly does not currently have a generic "click here to become my client" link. To bring clients in today, you have two supported public links and one manual path:
- Payment package link — share the URL for one of your packages. When a client completes the purchase, Fitsly automatically creates their client account and attaches them to you. This is the closest thing to a public invite link.
- Public Form link — share a form built as a "Public" form. Anyone with the link can submit their info; you receive a
public_form_completednotification and follow up. The submission does not automatically create a client account. - Manual invite — go to the Clients list, create the client profile yourself, and send the invite directly. Use this when you don't want them to pay yet.
A generic non-payment public invite link is on the roadmap but not shipped. Until then, the two options above cover the practical cases.
Share a payment package link
This is the right option when you want clients to enrol by paying for one of your packages.
- Sign in to
app.fitsly.comon a desktop browser. - Click Payments in the left navigation, then open the Packages tab.
- Find the package you want to share in the list.
- Click the three-dots menu (⋯) on the package card.
- Click Copy link. Fitsly copies the URL to your clipboard and shows the toast "Package link copied to clipboard".
- Paste the link wherever you'd share it (Instagram bio, email, DM, website button).
The link points to a Fitsly-hosted page that shows the package details and the purchase form. When a client completes payment, Fitsly creates their client account, attaches them to your coach account, and starts any onboarding flow you've set on the package.
You can sanity-check what a buyer sees by clicking Preview in the same three-dots menu — it opens the public package page in a new tab.
Share a Public Form link
This is the right option when you want to collect leads or info from prospective clients without taking a payment yet.
- Open
app.fitsly.comand click Forms in the left navigation. - Click New form at the top of the Forms list.
- Give the form a name. Under Select form type, choose Public Form. The description reads "Create forms that can be shared publicly to collect leads, gather information from potential clients, or conduct surveys. Accessible to anyone with the link."
- Click Create Form to open the form editor.
- Build out the questions you want to ask.
- In the editor, find the Public Form Link card. The description reads "Share this link with anyone to let them fill out your form. No account required."
- Click Copy link to copy the URL. Click Preview to see the form as a respondent would.
- Share the URL.
When someone submits the form, you'll get a notification (the activity item shows up as "public_form_completed") and you can review the submission under Forms → Submissions. The submission is a lead — you still need to invite them as a client manually if you want to onboard them, or send them a payment package link to convert them.
Which option fits which scenario?
| Goal | Use this | What happens when they complete |
|---|---|---|
| Sell a package and onboard the buyer as a client | Payment package link | Fitsly creates the client account and links them to you automatically |
| Collect lead info, free consultation request, application questionnaire | Public Form | You get a notification and a submission; client account is not created |
| You already know the client and just want them in your app for free | Manual invite from the Clients list | Standard invite email — see the "How do I add a new client?" article |
Things to watch out for
- Payment package links require a connected Stripe account on a paid Fitsly plan. If your Stripe Connect setup isn't complete, the link will load but buyers won't be able to pay. Finish identity verification + Stripe Connect first — see the "How do I connect Stripe?" article.
- Public Form submissions don't create clients. A coach who shares a Public Form expecting the respondent to land in their Clients list will be disappointed. To convert a submission into a client, follow up manually (or send them a payment package link to self-purchase).
- The package URL is keyed to your coach account. If a different coach shares the same link, the buyer is still attached to the package owner — not to whoever shared the link. Generate your own package and share that link.
- There is no generic "join my account" link. If you want to onboard a client without a payment, you must invite each client manually from the Clients list. The two automatic paths are payment package purchase (creates a paying client) and Public Form submission (creates a lead, not a client).
- The package and Public Form links are on a different host (
coach.fitsly.comrather thanapp.fitsly.com). That's expected — those public pages live on a separate front-end so they're accessible without signing in.
