Fitsly does not currently have a self-serve "export client data" button anywhere in the coach app. Workouts, habits, nutrition logs, check-ins, messages, and progress data cannot be downloaded as CSV, PDF, or JSON from inside the product today. The one exception is Stripe invoice PDFs, which can be downloaded individually from the Payments page.
If you need an ad-hoc data extract — for example, you're moving off the platform, doing year-end analysis, or responding to a client's data request — message support through Live Chat and the team will help on a case-by-case basis.
What you can download today
- Individual Stripe invoice PDFs. Open a client profile, go to the Payments tab, find the invoice, and click the download icon next to it. Each invoice is a single PDF file. The same is true for the account-wide invoice list under Payments → Overview. There's no "export all invoices" option — only per-invoice PDFs.
That's it for self-serve. Everything else (workouts, habits, nutrition logs, check-in form responses, messages, progress photos, body metrics) has no download option in the UI.
How to request an ad-hoc export
If you need data that isn't covered above, message us through Live Chat (click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and choose Live Chat) and include:
- What data you want — e.g. "all workout completions for client Jane Smith over the last 90 days", "a list of every active client with their assigned program and start date", "all check-in form responses for the past year".
- Why you need it — the team often suggests an in-product report or filter that would meet the same need without a manual extract. If you genuinely need the raw data (transferring to a different platform, regulatory request, etc.), say so explicitly.
- The format you want — CSV is usually the simplest; PDF works for things like form submissions you want to share with the client. Tell us which.
The team handles these manually, so allow some lead time. There's no SLA on ad-hoc exports.
What about the in-product views?
Even though you can't download the data, most of it is visible inside the coach app. If you only need to read the data rather than extract it, browse it directly:
- Workouts and program assignments — client profile → Calendar tab.
- Habit completions — client profile → Habits tab.
- Nutrition logs and macro history — client profile → Nutrition tab.
- Check-in and intake form submissions — client profile → Forms tab, or account-wide under Forms → Submissions.
- Body metrics, progress photos, goals, notes — client profile → General tab and the Progress sub-views.
- Payment history — client profile → Payments tab; account-wide under Payments → Overview / Subscriptions.
These don't replace an export, but they cover the cases where coaches want the data for inspection rather than for moving it elsewhere.
Things to watch out for
- There is no Export button anywhere in the coach app. If you're hunting for one in Settings, on a client profile, or under any of the Payments tabs, you won't find it (apart from the per-invoice PDF download). It's not hidden — it doesn't exist.
- Stripe invoice PDFs are the only bulk-friendly file you can grab today, and even those have to be downloaded one at a time. There's no "download all invoices for the year" button.
- Your data is held securely on Fitsly's servers with regular backups, but those backups are not customer-accessible. Don't rely on backups as a substitute for export — you need the data through the support flow above.
- Self-serve export is on the roadmap but not shipped. Ad-hoc support requests are the only path until it does ship.
- For client-facing data requests (e.g. a client asks for their personal data under data-protection rules), still go through Live Chat — the team will pull and package it for you.
