A client's synced health data lives on their Integrations tab — connection status, a health metrics grid covering the last 30 days, and their recent workouts. The coach mobile app shows the same screen.
Your view is read-only: the client connects the platform on their phone, and their data appears automatically.
Open a client's health data
- Open the client's profile and go to their Integrations tab.
- In the Sources card, click the Apple Health or Health Connect chip. The tab opens on Apple Health unless only Health Connect is connected, in which case it opens there. Once you pick a chip, your choice sticks until you leave the client.
- The platform's panel shows the connection status, the Health metrics grid, and the client's Workouts.
A client only ever syncs from the platform their phone runs, so the other chip stays Not connected.
Read a client's connection status
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not connected | No data has ever been received. Apple Health notes the client may need to enable Health permissions; Health Connect notes they may need to connect it in the client app |
| Connected | The client's device has sent data in the last 7 days, with a relative Last synced time |
| Not syncing | A previously connected client has sent nothing for more than 7 days. Shows "Last data received … ago" and what to ask them to check |
Read the health metrics grid
Six cards each show the client's latest value and a 30-day trend line. Hovering a chart reads out any day's value.
| Metric | Notes |
|---|---|
| Steps | From Health Connect, the day's combined total across the client's phone, watch and wearable apps |
| Active energy | Calories burned |
| Weight | — |
| Body fat | — |
| Resting heart rate | For an Apple Health client this is the day's average heart rate; for Health Connect it's the day's average of their resting-heart-rate readings |
| Sleep | From Health Connect, only the asleep stages count when the device records them; a device recording just start and end counts the whole session |
Clicking a card opens a drawer with a larger 30-day chart and a newest-first list of the days that have data.
Read a client's synced workouts
The Workouts section shows the client's 12 most recent workouts on the selected platform, newest first — older ones drop off as new ones sync in.
Each card shows:
- The activity type with its date and time. Apple Health uses 18 named types (Running, Cycling, Traditional Strength, Yoga, HIIT and more); Health Connect uses 61 (Running, Treadmill Running, Strength Training, Weightlifting, Pool Swimming and more). Anything else shows as Workout.
- A source badge naming where the workout came from. For Health Connect it names the recording app when it's a known one — Fitbit / Google Health, Garmin, Oura, Samsung Health, Whoop, Polar, COROS, Zepp, Mi Fitness or Withings — and "Health Connect" otherwise. For Apple Health it's the recording source's name, such as Apple Watch. Hover it to see both together, for example "Health Connect · Garmin".
- Calories, duration, distance, and pace when the workout has a distance.
- A heart-rate chart with peak and average, when more than one heart-rate sample was captured.
- A route map with a GPS route badge, for Apple Health workouts recorded outdoors with location.
If the client hasn't recorded any workouts on that platform, you'll see "No workouts synced yet".
Things to watch out for
- A client who turns off access on their phone keeps showing Connected until the 7-day threshold passes — on Android too, because disconnecting happens in the phone's Health Connect settings and isn't reported to your dashboard.
- A metric with no synced entries shows 0 with a flat chart, not a separate "no data" state; its detail drawer says "No entries yet".
- Workout cards don't open a fuller detail view. The full-resolution route map and heart-rate detail is a client-app screen only.
- Team members see health data only for their assigned clients, unless they can view all team resources.
