Client assignments control which clients a sub-coach can see and work with. Admins and you, the owner, see every client regardless of assignments.
Assignments are managed from Settings → Team Members on the web dashboard, and require an active subscription or trial.
Assign clients to a sub-coach
- On the Team Members page, open the row menu on an active member and choose Assign clients.
- Pick the clients to add — by search, by tag filter, or with select-all.
- Confirm.
Archived clients and clients already assigned to that member don't appear in the picker. Assigning is additive: clients already assigned to that member stay assigned.
The sub-coach gets a push notification naming up to 3 newly assigned clients ("{names} have been assigned to you.", or "{n} new clients" beyond 3).
Unassign clients from a team member
- Open the same row menu and choose Unassign clients.
- Pick the clients to remove from that member.
- Confirm.
Only the clients you pick are removed. The sub-coach is notified too ("{names} are no longer assigned to you."). The coach drops out of that client's message picker, while past content keeps that coach's name on it.

Things to watch out for
- Clients are never notified. Their coach list in the client app quietly updates, and past workouts, notes, and comments keep the name of whoever created them.
- Removing a team member does not clear or reassign their client assignments. Hand those clients to another sub-coach yourself, or leave them covered by you and any admins.
- Assigning clients to an admin doesn't change their access — admins already see everything. It does list that admin as one of the client's coaches in the client app's message picker, so there's normally no reason to do it.
- Role changes keep assignments. Promoting a sub-coach to admin means assignments no longer limit them; demoting an admin to sub-coach means they only see whatever clients are assigned to them, possibly none until you assign some.
