To cancel your Fitsly subscription, sign in to app.fitsly.com on a desktop browser, open Settings → Subscription, and use the cancel your subscription link inside the Current Subscription card. You cannot cancel from the coach mobile app.

Steps

  1. Open app.fitsly.com in a desktop web browser and sign in to the coach account that created the subscription.
  2. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the header and choose Settings, or go directly to app.fitsly.com/settings/subscription.
  3. Click the Subscription tab in the Settings page header.
  4. In the Current Subscription card, find the line that summarises your plan and renewal date. Inside that text, click the cancel your subscription link to open the cancellation modal.
  5. In the Cancel your plan modal, type a short reason in the Reason for cancelling field (this field is required).
  6. Click the Cancel plan button.
  7. The modal closes and the Current Subscription card shows a yellow Cancelled tag, plus the date your access will end.

What happens after you cancel

Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. Fitsly does not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of the period — your subscription simply will not renew on the next billing date. Until then, you keep full access to your account, your clients, and your data.

If you change your mind before the period ends, open the same Current Subscription card and click Reactivate Plan to keep your subscription running. Reactivation also opens a confirmation modal titled Reactivate your plan.

If you're on the coach mobile app

You cannot cancel a subscription from the coach mobile app. Open app.fitsly.com in a desktop or laptop web browser, sign in with the same email you used to create the subscription, and follow the steps above.

If you're a sub-coach

Only the head coach can cancel the subscription. Sub-coaches see a Sub-Coach overlay on the Subscription page rather than the cancel controls — ask the head coach on your team to handle the cancellation.

Free trials auto-convert to a paid plan

If you're on a free trial, your card will be charged automatically on the trial end date and your subscription will continue. The trial does not just expire — you must cancel it before the trial end date if you don't want to be charged. Follow the steps above to cancel from app.fitsly.com/settings/subscription.

If you're on a trial or active subscription and you can't find the Subscription tab in Settings, can't see the cancel link in the Current Subscription card, or the link doesn't work — for example because your trial was extended manually by support — message us immediately through Live Chat (avatar dropdown → Live Chat). The team will cancel it from our end before the next charge. Don't wait for the trial to "expire" on its own — it won't.

If you were already charged

If you cancelled but your card was charged anyway — for example you cancelled in the chat but the cancellation didn't go through, or your trial ended faster than expected — message support through Live Chat with the email on the account. If the cancel was requested before the renewal date, the team can refund the payment through Stripe. Refunds initiated by Fitsly take 5–10 days to appear back on your card.

Things to watch out for

  • Free trials are charged automatically on the trial end date — they do not just expire. If you don't want to be charged, you must cancel before that date.
  • Cancel from a desktop browser — the coach mobile app does not have a cancel control.
  • Sign in with the same email you used to create the subscription. If you have multiple Fitsly accounts, cancelling on the wrong one will not stop billing on the other.
  • The Reason for cancelling field is required. Empty reasons keep the Cancel plan button disabled.
  • Cancellation only stops the next renewal — it does not delete your account, your clients, or your data. To delete the account itself, that is a separate request through support.
  • If your trial was extended manually by the team, the in-app cancel button may not work — that's a known edge case. Message support and they can cancel it from the back end before the next charge.
