How do I change my Fitsly subscription plan?
Upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and yearly billing from Settings → Subscription, and know exactly what you're charged today.
Every Fitsly plan includes every feature. Plans differ only in the client limit — how many clients your whole workspace can have who aren't archived, active or pending. Changing plan means changing that limit.
Plans are managed on the web dashboard at Settings → Subscription. The Subscription tab is head-coach only, and it's hidden in the coach mobile app — billing prompts there point you to a browser.
Plans and prices
All prices are in USD. Yearly billing costs 10× the monthly price, which works out to two months free.
| Plan | Client limit | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 20 | $39 | $390 |
| Growth | 50 | $69 | $690 |
| Pro | 75 | $99 | $990 |
| Pro 125 | 125 | $159 | $1,590 |
| Pro 200 | 200 | $229 | $2,290 |
| Pro 500 | 500 | $419 | $4,190 |
Upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing cycle
- Go to Settings → Subscription → Choose plan.
- Pick a billing cycle. Bill monthlyBill yearly
- Select a different plan — or the same plan on the other cycle.
- Review the confirmation. It's labelled Upgrade, Downgrade, or Plan change, and shows a side-by-side comparison, a step-by-step "What happens", and a preview of today's charge that refreshes every 30 seconds.
- Confirm.
What you're charged when you change plan
| Change | What happens |
|---|---|
| Upgrade | Client limit changes immediately; a prorated amount for the days left in your cycle is charged today, shown on the confirm button |
| Downgrade | Client limit changes immediately; nothing is charged today — the preview shows the unused value of your old plan as a credit on your account |
| Monthly ↔ yearly switch | Same rules — a price increase is prorated and charged today, a decrease charges nothing and shows as a credit |
| Any change while trialing | Nothing is charged today |
Why a plan change can be rejected
You can't change plans while a payment on your account has failed and is still outstanding. The plan picker opens normally, but confirming is rejected with "Your subscription cannot be changed when you have an unpaid invoice." Pay the invoice first.
Choosing a plan after cancelling
If your plan is set to cancel (auto-renew off) or has already ended, picking a plan from Choose plan goes through the new-plan flow, not the plan-change flow:
- Every still-running subscription on your account — the remainder of a set-to-cancel plan, and a White Label subscription too — is ended immediately, and the new plan starts and bills today.
- An expired trial does not restart. A new subscription started after your trial date bills straight away.
Quick answers
Am I charged when I upgrade mid-cycle?
Yes — a prorated amount covering the difference for the days left in your current cycle, shown before you confirm. Your new client limit applies immediately.
