How do I change my Fitsly subscription plan?

Change your Fitsly subscription plan from the My Subscription page — pick a billing period, choose a plan, and confirm.

You change your plan from the My Subscription page in the web app. Pick monthly or yearly billing, choose the plan that fits your client count, then confirm. The change takes effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference on the same day.

Steps to change your plan

  1. Click your avatar in the top bar of the web app.
  2. Select My Subscription.
  3. At the top of the plan list, toggle between Bill Monthly and Bill Annually. Annual billing gives you 2 months free.
  4. Click the plan that matches your client count.
  5. On the Confirm your plan screen, review the prorated amount due today and the next billing date.
  6. If you want to use a different card, click Update payment method, add or select a card, then close that dialog.
  7. Click Confirm Plan.

Plan tiers and client caps

  • Starter — up to 20 clients
  • Growth — up to 50 clients
  • Pro — up to 75 clients
  • Pro 125 — up to 125 clients
  • Pro 200 — up to 200 clients
  • Pro 500 — up to 500 clients

Pick the smallest plan that covers your active client count. All features are included on every paid plan — you only pay for the client capacity you need.

What happens when you upgrade

When you upgrade mid-cycle, Stripe charges a prorated amount today for the remainder of the current period at the new plan's rate, minus credit for the unused portion of your current plan. The Confirm your plan screen shows the exact "Due today" amount before you confirm. After that, you're billed at the new plan's full rate on your normal renewal date.

What happens when you downgrade

When you downgrade mid-cycle, the unused portion of your current plan is applied as a prorated credit. If the credit covers the new plan's prorated charge, the "Due today" amount can be $0 or show the credit, and any remaining credit is automatically applied to your next invoice. No separate refund is issued — the credit lives on your Stripe customer record and offsets future charges.

If you're a subcoach

The My Subscription option only appears in the avatar menu for head coaches. Subcoaches don't see it because subscription billing is handled by the head coach who owns the team workspace. If you're a subcoach and need a plan change, ask your head coach to make the change.

Things to watch out for

  • The My Subscription page is only accessible on the web app, not the mobile coach app.
  • Plan changes take effect immediately — there's no end-of-cycle option.
  • If you downgrade to a plan with a lower client cap than your current active client count, the change still goes through. You'll keep all existing clients but won't be able to invite or activate new ones until your active count is back under the new cap.
  • Updating your payment method opens a separate dialog. After saving the new card, close that dialog to return to Confirm your plan, then click Confirm Plan to finish the change.
  • If your card is declined when confirming, the plan change won't complete — fix the payment method and try again.
