Meal plans always come from your coach. When one is assigned you get a push notification — "Meal Plan Assigned" — and the plan appears in the client app under Nutrition → Meal plans.
If you have no plan yet, that view offers Message your coach and Browse saved recipes shortcuts instead.
Open your plan
- Open the Nutrition tab and switch to Meal plans.
- The plan header shows your plan and its days — Training day, Rest day, and so on — as chips. Tap a chip or the day picker to switch days.
- If your coach has assigned you more than one plan, tap Change to open the plan picker. You choose freely which plan to view.
Read a plan day
A Plan day total card compares the day's planned calories with your calorie goal, with a macro bar. The macro bar is hidden when your coach has hidden macros.
Below it, each planned meal is a card:
- Meals with alternatives show an option switcher — the card totals follow the option you pick.
- Your coach's notes appear on the items.
- Tapping any food or recipe opens its details.
Log one item from your plan
- Tap the item's + button.
- Pick the date and the destination meal.
- Adjust the amount. Foods log by serving amount; recipes log by serves, from 0.1 to 20, defaulting to the plan's prescribed serves.
Log a whole plan meal
- Tap Log this meal on the meal card. The button shows the meal's calories.
- Pick the date and the destination meal.
- Remove any items you're skipping from the list — the button totals what remains.
- Log it.
Items land in your food diary for the day you chose, exactly like anything else you log, so you can edit servings or delete them afterwards from the meal card.
Open a recipe from your plan
Tap a recipe in the plan for its photo, description, ingredients and instructions tabs, notes, and related recipes. The serves stepper scales ingredient quantities and the calorie and macro figures live, stepping whole serves from 1 to 12 — a plan's prescribed serves are clamped into that range. The serves you pick carry into the log sheet.
You can heart a recipe to keep it in your Saved tab for logging later without opening the plan.
Things to watch out for
You can't edit the plan. Meal plans, meal options, and macro targets are set by your coach. If a plan doesn't work for you, message your coach — the empty state and a program's detail screen both offer a direct shortcut.
Nothing is logged automatically. A plan shows what to eat; your diary only fills in when you log an item or a meal from it.
Notifications are limited to two. You get "Meal Plan Assigned" when your coach assigns a plan, and "Macro Targets Updated" whenever they save your targets. There are no nutrition reminders.
Your coach may hide the numbers. When macros are hidden, the plan and your diary still work — you just don't see calorie or macro figures.
