The referral program is coach-to-coach. Every coach who signs up through your link gets $20 off their first payment, and you get $20 credit on your own Fitsly bill once that payment clears.
There's nothing to configure — the terms are the same for every coach.
Find the Referral Program page
Click the dollar icon in the dashboard header; its tooltip reads Referral Program. The page opens under Tools > Refer a coach, with your link, invite tools, stat cards, and referral list in one place.
A dot on the header icon shows by default until you open the page for the first time. After that it reappears when a coach signs up with your code and starts their subscription, and when one of your credits lands. It clears each time you open the page.
Share your referral link
Click Copy link on the Referral Program page. One click copies the full signup link, with your code embedded, to your clipboard.
Your link and its 10-character code are generated automatically the first time you open the page. The code never changes and can't be customized.
A coach opening your link sees a banner on the Fitsly signup page showing the code. On the subscription step after they create their account, the code is pre-filled and validated live, showing a masked version of your email as the referrer.
Invite coaches by email
- On the Referral Program page, type addresses into the invite field and press space to add each one as a removable chip.
- Click Send invite.
Each address receives an email with the subject "{your name} sent you $20 to try Fitsly", containing your referral link.

Invalid addresses and duplicates you type are dropped silently.
Earn and use your credit
- A coach signs up with your code and starts a Fitsly subscription. Their $20 lands on their account balance straight away and comes off their first charged invoice. They appear in your list as Pending.
- When their first invoice with an actual payment clears, your $20 credit is granted. Their row switches to Credit applied, you get a "Your Fitsly referral reward has been applied" email, and the header dot lights up.
- Your credit sits on your account balance in your billing currency and comes off what you're charged on future Fitsly invoices. Credits stack, with no cap.
Track your referrals
Three stat cards sit above the list: Total referrals, Pending credits ($20 per referral who hasn't paid a first invoice), and Claimed credits.
The table below shows one row per referred coach, newest first: name, partially masked email, join date, a status pill (Pending · not yet paid, or Credit applied), and the credit earned. The All, Credit earned, and In progress tabs filter it.
Things to watch out for
- A referral only registers when the new coach starts a subscription. Someone who opens your link and creates an account but stops before the subscription step never appears in your list or stats.
- During a free trial the first invoice is $0, which doesn't trigger your credit — it waits for their first real payment. A referral who never pays stays Pending indefinitely.
- A code can only be entered through a referral link. A coach who signs up without one gets no code field anywhere.
- You can't refer yourself, and cancel-and-resubscribe cycles never produce a second credit.
- The page isn't available inside a team workspace, and the shortcut is hidden in the coach mobile app.
