Open a client's profile → Nutrition tab → Food Log to see everything they've eaten, week by week. It's the first of the tab's three sub-tabs, alongside Meal Plans and Macro Targets.
Weeks run Monday to Sunday, and a week picker moves you between them.
Read a client's week
The week view shows:
- Average daily calories against the client's goal, with a target indicator.
- How many of the 7 days the client logged food — the fastest read on consistency.
- A per-day calorie bar chart. Click any day to open its full log.
- Weekly macro averages and a macro distribution breakdown.
- A weekly totals table.
The goal comparison in the week view uses the client's default calorie target, not any date overrides.
Open a day and read its meals
Open a day from its tab or by clicking it in the chart. The day view shows:
- Per-meal sections — Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks — listing each logged item's serving and macros. Meals with nothing logged say so.
- Items the client logged from a recipe, grouped under a collapsible recipe header.
- The client's meal photos for that day. Click one to view it full size.
- An expandable micronutrient breakdown totalling the day.
- The day's calorie goal against the day's total. Here a date override for that day wins over the default target.
What the week view tells you at a glance
| Reading | What it means |
|---|---|
| Days logged well below 7 | Logging consistency, not diet quality, is the problem to coach |
| Average calories inside the target indicator | The week sat inside the client's variance band on average |
| A flat macro distribution against a plan | Their eating is drifting from the plan you assigned |
| Meals repeatedly empty on a day | Whole meals are going unlogged, not just individual items |
Correct what's in the log
You can fix entries from the day view without waiting for the client:
- Edit a serving — open the item's row menu, choose Edit serving size, adjust the amount, and save. A live preview shows the recalculated macros.
- Delete an item — use the row's delete action and confirm.
- Delete a whole recipe — deleting a recipe header removes every food item logged as part of that recipe, together.
Deleted entries are gone for good. There's no restore, and the client gets no notification either way.
Things to watch out for
- Food can be logged for past or future days by either side — there's no cutoff — so a week can change after you've reviewed it.
- If the client copies one day's log onto another day, the target day's items are replaced entirely, not merged.
- Items you log on a client's behalf never carry a photo. Meal photos only come from the client.
