A workspace is one coach's entire business on Fitsly — its clients, content, branding, and subscription. If you run your own business and also belong to another coach's team, you have more than one workspace and you choose where to work.
Switch to another workspace
- Open Change Team from your profile menu. The menu item only appears when you belong to more than one workspace.
- Pick a workspace from the dropdown and click Select team.
Workspaces are listed by business name, or by the owner's name if no business name is set.
After a login where no previous workspace choice was restored, you land on the Select a team's workspace page instead. Otherwise login goes straight to the dashboard in your remembered workspace.
What changes when you switch
| Behaviour | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your open sessions | All of them move to the selected workspace at once |
| Future logins | Your choice is remembered |
| Clients and content | You see that workspace's clients and content, not your own |
| Branding | You work under the workspace owner's branding |
| Billing | The owner's subscription covers the workspace; your own subscription status is ignored while you work inside it |
Switching back to your own workspace restores your own business.
Join a workspace as an invited member
- New to Fitsly — the invitation email links to a signup page naming the team owner, with your email locked and your name prefilled but editable. You set a password (at least 8 characters including at least one symbol or number) and pass a captcha. One signup joins every team that invited that email address.
- Already a Fitsly coach — you join the moment the invite is sent, with no accept step, and your next login lands in that workspace. You can switch back to your own at any time.
Either way, the workspace owner is notified that you joined, and you get a welcome notification.
Things to watch out for
- A used or cancelled invite link shows an "Invalid signup code" screen — "Looks like your signup code is either invalid or has already been used. Please try again or contact your team owner to request a new invite link." Ask the owner for a fresh invite.
- Members can't reach the owner's settings. Inside someone else's workspace you never see the Team Members page, their subscription page, or their branding settings.
- A blocked workspace means billing. If the owner's subscription isn't active, a full-screen notice blocks the workspace until they choose a plan. Access is re-checked about once a minute, so it unblocks without a re-login.
- A coach can belong to any number of workspaces. There's no limit on how many teams you're part of.
