How do I update my coach profile and settings?

Personal details (name, email, photo, country) live in Settings. Business name, logo, and colors live in Branding.

Your coach settings are split across two areas: personal account details (legal name, email, profile photo, country, SMS) live in Settings, while your client-facing business identity (business name, logo, brand colors) lives in Branding.

How to open Settings

Settings is only available from the avatar menu, not the sidebar.

  1. Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown.
  3. The page opens at the Account tab → Profile Settings.

Update your personal details (Account → Profile Settings)

Each field on Profile Settings saves independently. Click Edit (or Add) next to a field to open it inline.

  1. Legal name — Click Edit, update First name and Last name, then click Save Changes.
  2. Email address — Click Edit, update the email, then click Update Email.
  3. Profile photo — Click Add, then click Upload an Image in the Add your profile photo modal to choose a file. This photo is shown to your clients.
  4. Country — Click Edit, choose a country from the dropdown, then click Update Country. Country affects food search results and notification timing.
  5. SMS Number — Click Add, choose a country code, enter your phone number, then click Send confirmation code to verify by SMS. This number is used for account security, not as a client contact.

Manage email notifications (Account → Email Updates)

Click Email Updates in the left sub-nav under Account. Toggle Account Activity, Product Updates, and Feedback on or off — changes save automatically.

Update your password (Account → Account Security)

Click Account Security in the left sub-nav under Account. Click Update next to Password to change it. The Device History section below shows recent logins.

Update timezone and date format (App Display → Date & Time)

  1. Click the App Display tab at the top of Settings.
  2. Click Date & Time in the left sub-nav.
  3. Choose a Date Format (e.g. DD/MM/YYYY) and Timezone from the dropdowns.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Update units of measurement (App Display → Units)

Click Units in the left sub-nav under App Display. Choose Units of Weight and Units of Length (Metric or Imperial), then save.

Update your business name, logo, and colors (Branding)

Your business identity isn't in Settings — it's in Branding.

  1. Open Branding from the sidebar.
  2. Click into each section to edit:
    • Business Name — free-text Name field.
    • Theme Color — primary brand color (hex picker or preset).
    • Mixer Color — secondary accent color.
    • Logo — upload a square logo image.
  3. Use the live preview on the right to check how your changes look in the Fitsly App, Emails, and Payments tabs.
  4. Click Save at the bottom of the left panel — all Branding changes save together in one action.

If you're a subcoach

Branding is only available to head coaches. If you don't see Branding in your sidebar, ask your head coach to update the business name, logo, or brand colors on your behalf.

Things to watch out for

  • Settings isn't in the sidebar — it's only in the avatar dropdown in the top-right corner.
  • Each field on Profile Settings has its own save button (Save Changes, Update Email, Update Country) — there's no single Save All.
  • Only one Profile Settings field can be open at a time. Opening another field's Edit form closes the first without saving it.
  • The SMS Number field is for account security, not a client-facing contact number. Verifying it requires consenting to receive transactional texts from Fitsly.
  • Business name, logo, and colors aren't in Settings — they're under Branding in the sidebar.
  • Branding changes only save when you click Save. The live preview updates instantly but doesn't persist until you submit.
